It is very important that the program helps players and families from all walks of life, as well as be reflective of the community. There is a conscientious effort to provide opportunities to families from diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds.

SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Throughout the years, many young athletes have wanted to join the program but were unable to do so due to financial reasons. Additionally, members of the program have faced financial hardship and were finding it difficult to keep up with their dues. When these instances occur, the program sees it as an opportunity to offer assistance.

 

Potential and/or current participants that require financial assistance apply for scholarships funded by the program and its donors. Each scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and awarded on a case-by-case basis.

 

From 2018-2021, over $33,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
